About the Chapter & Board Members
We are entirely a volunteer run chapter and are always looking for ways to better serve our members through clinics, lectures, workshops, scholarships and other chapter sponsored events. We welcome new members to Foothills Chapter and also at the Committee and Board level. Ellusion KBD aka Ellie May is a coming 3-year-old Oldenburg mare by Everdale out of a Rubinstein 1 mare who is just starting her career under saddle as a dressage horse

Delegante KBD aka Nugs is a coming 3-year-old Oldenburg gelding by Dheputy out of a Sinatras Song mare who is just starting his career under saddle as a dressage horse

Wranglers Bule Gene aka Nutter-Butter is a coming 3-year-old Appaloosa gelding from Avalon Appaloosas, and he is starting his under-saddle career as a reining and trail horse

Reina is an 18-year-old Oldenburg mare by Rubinstein 1 out of a Lessing mare. She does some lower-level dressage, trail riding and is one of our broodmares. Reina is currently in foal to Fynch Hatton for an April 2022 foal.

Shnickers aka Nickers is a 12-year-old double registered Hanoverian, Oldenburg mare by Sinatras Song out of a Windmark mare. She does some trail riding, light arena work and is one of our broodmares. Nickers is currently in foal to Le Formidable for a March 2022 foal.
I have been riding for 18 years total and have been riding strictly dressage for 13 years.
I have been a Foothills member for only about a year, but I have been a CDS member for about 9 or 10 years.

I have been riding since I was 8 mostly Hunter/Jumpers and trail. I took a 15 year break to raise kids. I stated riding again in 2016 at that time I dabbled in dressage a bit. Then I had a bad accident that kept me out of the saddle all of 2018. In 2019 I got back in the saddle and with the help of some incredible trainers. That’s when I got serious and really started to learn and begin my Dressage journey.
This will be only 3rd year in CDS and my 2nd year as a Foothill member.

Equestrian for life ~ grew up in 4-H showing western and gymkana events, hunter/jumper, and combined eventing which led me to dressage. I show both western and traditional dressage. First dressage show was 32 years ago and it challenges me more every single year. I think it was Vivian that talked me into getting a website going for Foothills and I have been involved with the web/digital marketing since then.

I teach computer science, web publishing, graphics, Internet Marketing. Most of my courses are online if you want to spiff up your marketing.
