Foothills Chapter is hosting a one day Sporthorse in-hand clinic with Sporthorse Breeder, Trainer and former CDS President Kevin Reinig.

Adults & Kids can participate.

The clinic is free to current CDS members. No audit fee. $25 trailer- in fee if you bring a horse. Stabling also available.

*Kevin Reinig of KEFA Performance Horses in Wilton, California, has been involved in breeding top dressage horses for 25 years.

*Kevin has bred and trained successful equine athletes, from sport-horse breeding and young-horse futurity champions to international CDI mounts

*Kevin started his equestrian career at a young age as an auction groom at Glenwood Farms in Wilton, CA.  During his tenure, he learned about breeding, working with brood mares, stallions, young horses, and, in his later years, learned how to put on quality horse auctions.

*Kevin worked his way through college as the assistant breeding manager at Glenwood Farms.

Portable Stall ($40)

Paddock ($35)

Trailer-in Fee ($25) if not stabling

All participants must sign a Release of Liability Form and wear an ASTM/SEI Certified Helmet during their lesson. Horses will be grouped by age. Stallions handled alone in the ring. Bring a dressage whip with rounded handle, lunge whip, lead with or without chain. Bridle optional for yearlings; 2 year olds and older must have a bridle. Participants should have comfortable running shoes and clothing. (Horses that do not lead or trot in-hand will not be allowed to participate).
