Tracy Adams

AA Rider

Tracy Adams – 6 year old Oldenburg: Fiona

Tracy Adams grew up in the United Kingdom where, as a child, she begged her parents for a horse. Her wish came true when at eleven years old she was allowed begin riding school. Since then, she has been a member of a hunt club, evented and participated in The Pony Club. She has earned her USDF Bronze and Silver medals on self-trained horses. She started Fiona at four years and is currently showing her at second level. Tracy uses lateral exercises to build the Fiona’s strength, symmetry, and straightness to enable early collection. As a rider, she wishes to improve sitting softly and following her horse’s movement, keeping even contact, and sitting tall.

Recent test collective comments Promising pair, needs confidence and confirming in Canter, walk turns and transitions in general, nicely elastic mover, develop more engaged uphill balance. Unfortunate tension, transitions need to be at the letter, “Charming mare!” needs to gain confidence but shows potential. Develop more power in medium.

Challenges and evasions Transitions, tension, spooking. Strong in the hand sometimes, especially when distracted.
